4Ps Press Release :- Tomorrow is yours...for just Rs.25,990

IIPM BEST MBA INSTITUTE

BRAND :
Compaq
HEADLINE : Tomorrow is yours...for just Rs.25,990
BASELINE : Kal Tumhara Hai
AGENCY : Publicis

4Ps TAKE :
A clever take-off on the popular TVC showcasing SRK and compaq in a similar role, this one has Shahrukh Khan in a fortune-teller’s attire again, coaxing readers to purchase the Compaq notebook. The power idea behind the ad is accomplished via the headline which says ‘Kal Tumhara Hai’ (obviously a pun on Kal Ho Naa Ho!). The ad touts the availability of a Compaq Desktop + a great tomorrow for just Rs.25,990. With various IT giants closing-in on Compaq, their pricing strategy is imperative for the value conscious Indian consumer. The ad not only targets the youth, but the entire family. The clinching benefit to the brand is the price of the product and the easy learning facility that it ensures to its customers. And, as usual, SRK is utterly convincing; no two ways about that!

Success is savoured sweetest when decreed by destiny…

IIPM BEST MBA INSTITUTE
The interplay of history with cinema has borne witness to the swift ascent of several among those chosen to portray roles rich with legend on the silver screen into popular imagination and acceptance. And while immortality – fabled and fated only for the Gods – might prove elusive to the average mortal, a whiff of its overwhelming power may yet endure in cinematic characterizations of folklore. Roles of the ilk of Jesus Christ and Helen of Troy oft en entail the acid test of an actor’s skill, with the potential to cement celebrity status overnight or deliver a killer blow to budding careers.

Jesus of Nazareth, the Lord, an enigma to millions who swear by him in times trying and those blissful... Christ, the Anointed One, the centrepiece of any Christian household, the messiah of love and compassion. To adapt the final 12-hours of the glory of Christ in a rendition spellbinding enough to be counted amongst the top acknowledged celluloid adventures of all times is a feat well achieved, the equivalent of onscreen salvation!

IIPM Release :- How long will ‘Services’ alone boost GDP?

IIPM PUBLICATION
And if the government hopes that things will turn around in the next 10 or so years time, when about 45-50% of the Indian population is forecasted to begin to reside in urban areas, then surely they’re deliberately being blind to the killingly slow pace of infrastructure development. Professor Edison Tse of Stanford University berated India’s infrastructure development compared to China by mouthing a vitriolic remark to B&E, that “India’s best city doesn’t even compare with China’s Tier 3 cities (the ones with lowest development, as per the Chinese government), what to talk about Tier 1 cities.” A fact corroborated to B&E by George Wu, Professor at Chicago University’s world renowned Graduate School of Business. China has maintained a constant 10% and around growth for past three decades in continuation; and so consummate is their economic management that even this year, they have kept their inflation as low as 1.4%.
